the flowers

BlueDog yawned as he held Rossie's hand.
He didn't really like going to the park so late...
But Rossie insisted it was easier to find caterpillars on flowers and tree bark...
and, of course, BlueDog can't say no to his little brother...

Rossie laughed when the tall blades grass tickled his footcups,
but they didn't really affect BlueDog,

" find anything yet Rossie? "

" no, will you help me look big brother? "

Rossie looked innocent as he waved his arms up at BlueDog,
showing that he wanted to be carried.
BlueDog sighed and lifted him up to his shoulders...
while looking around,
BlueDog thought he heard a noise...

He turned and a saw a figure on the rock...
Her figure could be recognized from a mile away,
and the wings clearly gave her away.

Puru was sitting a rock near the edge of the cliff,
and BlueDog could swear he heard her crying...
he put Rossie down and frowned at her,
what could be making her cry?...

Rossie lifted a few violet flowers up to show to BlueDog,

" big brother love Puru? "

" what?! Rossie, she's way older then me!... well, a bit older. She's almost family, and you know how much I hate to see family cry.. "

" Big brother give Puru flowers, beca flowers make girls happy?... "

BlueDog stared questioningly at his brother...
well, if it made Puru stop crying.
He took a few of the flowers from Rossie and headed over to Puru,
who was weeping too much to notice him.

" Puru? "

she fell off the rock, startled by the sudden noise,

" GAH! B-BlueDog what the hell are you doing?! "

she cried.

" er... I heard you crying so I brought some flowers over... "

BlueDog had never seen her so upset, angry, and.. well, she looked scared....
He offered the flowers to her and she gently took them,

" .. are you hiting on me? "

" WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP SAYING THAT?! "

BlueDog ruffled his hair and sat opposite of Puru, pouting,

" .. it's very nice of you BlueDog, thanks. "

" yeah, it was no problem. "

Rossie ran over and wrapped his arms around Puru's neck,

" Auny Puru! "

Puru stood, carrying Rossie,

" it's getting late, maybe you should get him home.. "

BlueDog nodded and took Rossie from her,
waving as he walked off.
